Most fire rated expanding foams offer moisture resistance and protection but they are not fully waterproof. They are designed to offer passive fire protection against extreme heat, smoke and toxic fumes.
Yes, most glazing tapes are weather resistant and this applies to fire rated glazing tapes too. Our fire rated glazing tapes can withstand UV exposure, rain, wind, fire & smoke
Intumescent sealants are designed to provide passive fire protection and resistance when exposed to extreme heat but they not all intumescent sealants reduce sound transmission, only a select few do.
Acoustic seals are designed to reduce sound transmission through gaps, joints and openings between doors, windows and walls throughout the building. They eliminate sound waves which can easily pass through gaps, which enhances the soundproofing system for doors, windows and walls.
Threshold plates are metal composite strips installed at doorways to create a smooth transition between different flooring materials or levels. They cover the gap between floors, provide weather sealing, and create an attractive finished appearance. They also offer significant acoustic benefits by reducing sound transmission between rooms.
Drop down seals are automatic seals which extend downwards to seal gaps at the bottom of doors and when the door is closed they retract. They provide acoustic insulation and passive fire and smoke protection.
